Day 26 (+ a few months): Something You Don't Like
Inspired by my son's concoction: Cheerio Yogurt Soup
The final four drawings will be quite rough. Stole some drawing time during a rare synchronized nap. A gift to me from my two boys!

My contribution to "One Drop Comic"
My 30 day drawing challenge has been put on hold. In the meantime, I'm writing a story with my husband Bill and illustrating it. Here's a sneak preview!
"The Adventures of Joe Explorer Extraordinaire and the Secret of Alphabet Isle" will be published in "One Drop Comic"--a compilation of comics/graphic stories illustrated by friends and colleagues that hail from UCLA's Animation Workshop. Please support our kickstarter campaign to get the comic published.

Day 25: Scenery
I loved seeing the orange stands along the road. The orange trees stretched out as far as the horizon line in some areas. Sadly, very few orange groves remain in Riverside county.

Day 19: Something New
Very, very, rough animation of Joey from infancy to walking. At every stage, he surprises me with "something new."
Music is by local musician Dennis Doyle. He performed at the Burbank Library in 2011 for St. Patty's day. I do not have the rights, to use this, but I think I'd like to tap him on the shoulder to ask if I can animate to it. According to Prof. Doyle, he wrote this song to celebrate the birth of his son.
